Assumptions/ Biases

Learning Management Systems (LMSs) offer the capacity and power required to deliver tailor-made learning experiences.

Breaking free of the tedium of Online Learning offers instructors more opportunities to teach, mentor and draw out the talents of students.

The technology required to shortcut LMS Tedium proves easy enough for Non-Techie Instructors…if someone shows them how.

Student Learning Outcomes should take center stage, and the LMS should fade to “invisibility” and not distract from Teaching and Learning.

Teachers make the “Value Added Difference” in education…not LMSs, textbooks, Websites, Search Engines or Social Media.

Online Learning provides the capacity to drive educational reform, upgrade and improvement…and must break the bonds that keep it restrained in lockstep to traditional lecture-textbook-driven courses.
